Services will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Morris Funeral Home, Cowen with a euology by Greg Gregory. Burial with full Military Rites conducted by American Legion Post #62, will follow at the Hickman Cemetery, Dyer.
Friends may join the family from 6:00-8:00pm, Monday evening March 20, 2017 at the funeral home. Online condolences may be sent to the family at morrisfuneralhomecowenwv.com.
Services are entrusted to the care of Morris Funeral Home.

Zeph was a fine man,a great friend. His passing will leave many memories,of time spent at his and Edna's home. You are finally at peace my friend,reconnected with your loved ones that has gone before you. Thinking of the family and prayers for Peace at this time. My sympathies to Zeph's family. Perhaps he and my dad (Vernon Hodges) are back to bear hunting again.

I love you Uncle Zeph every time I look down I chuckle and say my favorite Uncle said I didn't have toes they were bear claws and then he would tickle and send to sleep in room where big bear watched over me .Rest peacefully by the river I'll find you there. Love Clelia
