Cheryl Jean Sigman Holcomb earned her wings on April 3, 2024, in Summersville WV. She was born on October 16, 1955, to Newman Ralph Sigman and Helen Irene Sigman.

Cheryl was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She was loved by all her friends at Little General in Birch River where she would spend every morning laughing and joking with the girls, as she called them.

She is proceeded in death by her mother and father, her son Richie Holcomb, and her granddaughter Summer Eddy.

She is survived by her husband Otis Holcomb, her sisters, Peggy (Carl) Griffin and Twila (Francis) Carpenter and brother Newman Sigman; daughters, Suzi Metcalf, Melissa Hamric and Brandy Eddy; grandchildren, Cheyenne Smith, Destiny Bragg, Spencer Eddy, and Lyla Cummings; and great granddaughter, Claire Smith.

She will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved her for the great cakes and other baked goods she was always bringing. She was always there for those she loved.

Cheryl’s wishes for cremation have been honored, with no memorial services at this time.
