Jeffery Craig Giles, 58 of Cowen, passed away at his home on June 6th, 2024. He was born in Summersville WV on December 9th, 1965, to the late Frank and Erma Mullens Giles. He lived his whole life in Cowen, where he spent numerous years with the Cowen Volunteer Fire Department. Jeff had many hobbies. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, and riding four wheelers, but his favorite hobby was buying and restoring cast iron. He loved the people and new friends he made along the way. In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his brother Paul “Calvin” Giles and brother-in-law Jubert Williams.

Left to cherish his memory are his children: son, Donny James (Amanda) Giles, and daughter Brooklyn Paige Giles; brothers Clyde ” Leo” (Melody) Giles, Earnest “Ray” (Debbie) Giles, and William Nicholas (Amy) Giles, sisters, Hazel Louise Williams and Retha Virginia (Jim) Morrison and a host of nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews; along with, too many friends to list.
