Service will be held at 2:00pm on Friday, April 19, 2024, at Morris Funeral Home in Cowen with Brother Larry Armentrout officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 12:00 pm until the time of service on Friday at Morris Funeral Home. Burial will follow at WV Memorial Gardens, Calvin.

G. David Bragg, 79, of Craigsville, passed away at home on Monday, April 15, 2024. He was born on September 14, 1944, in Weston, WV, a son of the late George K. Bragg and Thelma M. Perkins Bragg.

David was a former coal miner and security supervisor. He was a member of Cowen Volunteer Fire Department for many years. David enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching, and talking sports with his family and friends. His favorite past time was rolling a snuff can with his great grandson Jaxen.

Surviving is his wife Juanita Fowler; sons, Ronnie (Amy) Bragg and Randy (Beth) Bragg; step-children, Lynn May, Lisa Fowler, Patricia Comeaux, and Teresa (Jimmy) Williams; brothers, Jim Bragg, Rick Bragg and John P. Bragg; sisters, Ann Hawkins, Anita Armentrout and Debbie Stanley; grandchildren, Laci Metz, R.J. Bragg, J.R. Bragg, Jerrid May, Jacob and Olivia Comeaux, Jaxson Williams and Joshua Fowler; great-grandchildren, Emma, Atalea, Jaxen, Everley, Brylee, Jordan, Blakely, Jason, Jasmin and Jordan, and several nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Donnie Bragg; sisters, Patricia Selman, and Shelia Perrine; and grandchild, Hilary Fowler.
