Services will be held Thursday, December 28, 2017 at 11:00am at Morris Funeral Home, Cowen, WV with Chaplain Jim Dyer officiating. Burial will follow at Mill Mountain Cemetery. Friends may call from 5:00-9:00pm on Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at the Funeral Home.

My bluegrass buddy, I'm going to miss. The biscuits and sausage gravy. I can see you now peeking through the clous saying " well, okay, fine." I can see white doves flying around looking for you. Really miss you, my friend.

My sweet bluegrass buddy. Will miss you at those famous biscuit and sausage gravy breakfasts. Being the angel you are, I know you will be peeking through the clouds saying "well, alright then." I know the "Lonesome Dove" will be waiting for you. Rest in peace, my friend.

My sweet friend, you will be missed. I have loved you for many years. We have laughed and cried together, enjoyed our time together and loved the time we had. Our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren will really miss you. May God take you in his arms and hold you.
