Services will be on Friday, November 25, 2022 at Morris Funeral Home in Cowen, WV with Pastor Larry Lovely at 2pm with visitation 12pm-2pm prior to the service. Sue will be laid to rest beside her husband in Sunset Memorial Park in Erbacon, WV. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations to be made to Morris Funeral Home for funeral expenses. Morris Funeral Home is honored to serve the Cook/Bean/Tomblin Family.

Susan “Sue” Ann Cook, 72, of Cowen, WV went home to be with The Lord on Monday, November 21, 2022 in Heaters, WV at the home of her grandson & granddaughter, Shane & Leslie Tomblin, surrounded by her family after a short illness.

She was born on April 28, 1950 to the late Robert Leo Weese & Eula Naomi Sims Weese Lamb. Sue was a homemaker & retired from Horn of America. She was preceded in death by her husband, Tommy “Tom” Allen Bean, whom she married on October 30, 1968.

Sue was a member of the Cowen Garden Club & a member of the American Legion-Cowen Post 62. She loved to volunteer in her community & help others in need. Sue was a Christian by faith, loved playing Bingo, solitaire, Sudoku & crossword puzzles, Rummy & Phase 10, as well as, fishing with her grandsons, gardening, digging ramps & mushroom hunting, she loved spending time with family & enjoying get togethers, camping, Bluegrass music, watching cooking shows, cooking & baking and she loved peanut butter Oreos with milk & pretzels.

She is survived by daughters Christine Gail Bean of Heaters, WV & Melissa Jo Bean Tomblin (Ron “Hagen” Cogar) of Jumbo, WV; grandsons Shane Allen Tomblin & wife, Leslie Dawn Hudkins Tomblin & Preston Lee Tomblin all of Heaters, WV. She is also survived by sisters Sally Lee Perrine (Osburn), Ruth Ellen Greene (Paul) both of Erbacon, WV & Mary Virginia Cooley McMillion (Glenn) of Flatwoods, WV; and brother Robert Junior Weese (Sharon) of Erbacon, WV. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews & several cousins.

The family of Sue would like to say special thanks to the staff of WV Caring of Burnsville for their care & support of Sue & her family during this difficult time.
