Ronald Lee Rose, 50, of Cowen, passed away August 11, 2023 at CAMC, Hurricane, after a short illness. He was born April 7, 1973 in Summersville, a son of Evelyn Gadd Rose and the late Lanty Gale Rose.

Ronnie was a 1991 graduate of Webster County High School and worked as a security guard for many years. He enjoyed working on vehicles and small engines, hanging out with friends and taking care of his mother.

Left to cherish his memory are his mother, sister, Chris (Jackie) Carpenter of Williamstown, brother, Jr. Johnson, uncles, Lloyd Gadd, Harold Gadd and Dennis Gadd all of Cowen, niece, Kasey (Zach) Cogar and her children, Paityn, Zayden, niece, Jessica Carpenter and daughter Hailey and many other friends made over the years.

In addition to his father, brother, Tim Rose, sister, Mary Rose, nephew, Jonathan Rose, aunt, Edith Peyatt, uncles, Delbert Gadd and Ralph Gadd preceded him in death.

Services will be held at 1:00pm Tuesday, August 15, 2023 at Morris Funeral Home, Cowen with Pastor Larry Lovely officiating. Burial will follow at the Gadd Cemetery, Dennison Run. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 12:00pm until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
