Burial Date September 13, 2016
Service will be 1:00pm. Tuesday, September 13, 2016 at Morris Funeral Home, Cowen with Pastor Sam Nichols officiating. Burial will follow at the Miller Cemetery, Backfork of Webster Springs.
Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Monday, September 12, 2016 at the funeral home.
The family would like to thank everyone for there prayer during Marty short illness.

I grew up with Marty and his family on Miller Mountain. He had the same birthday as my Mom. He was one of the sweetest people I've known. I was so sorry to hear that he had passed. Your family is in my thoughts and prayers. May God give you strength , peace , and comfort in the days ahead.

Marty was a caring, kind person, our neighbor growing up on Second St., Back Fork, he helped my mother with household chores and mowed the grass. Glad he stopped to talk last summer and comment about the past. Prayers for you and your son, he will be missed, so sorry for your loss.
