Kista Strickland, 68, of Camden-on-Gauley, WV, passed away December 15, 2017, at home, surrounded by her loving family. She was born July 2, 1949 in Dille, WV, a daughter of Buell and Zelda Roseleen Frame Strickland.

Kista loved to read and crochet, enjoyed gardening and canning. Her grandchildren loved to fish with grandma. She was a Christian by Faith, a member of the Arcola Church and loved the Lord.

She is survived by daughters, Zelda Marie Knight and Kimberly Michelle (Jerry) Salisbury. Siblings: Joseph Ellis (Sharon) Strickland of Birch River, Retta (Rock) Dodrill of Geneva, Ohio, Keith Strickland of Birch River. Grandchildren: Jesse (Kya) Salisbury, Kody Salisbury, Andrew (Bobbie) Ayers, Jacob Salisbury, Colt Knight, and Peyden Knight. Great grandchildren: Madeline Paige Ayers, Liam Andrew Ayers, Calliope Michelle Rowh, and Aydan Dale Salisbury.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant son, Joseph Daniel.

Services will be held Thursday, December 21, 2017 at 2:00pm at Morris Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, Erbacon. Friends may call from 12:00 until time of the service at the funeral home. A going away party will be held at Erbacon Community Building following the services.
