Jack Dalton Miller, 91, of Cowen, WV passed away peacefully on 9/10/2023. He was born on 10/13/1931 and was the son of the late Otis (Cricket) and Margaret Miller.

Jack lived a full life. He drilled gas wells and was an electrician in the coal mines. He enjoyed wood working and hunting. He was a member of the Camden on Gauley Masonic Lodge #107 for over 50 years serving as the Past Master. He attended Cowen Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Polly Boggs Miller. He was also preceded in death by wife, Phyllis Miller, son, Michael Miller; granddaughter, Jayna Browning; and siblings, Ray Miller, Jean Armstrong and Mary Lou Hosey.

He is survived by sibling, Patricia Crowe of Cowen, children: Wes (Angie) Miller of Cowen; Marsha (Kenney) Sutton of Hurricane; Jackie (Mike) Browning of Pipe Stem; and Rick (Carolyn) Miller of Gainesville, FL. Grandchildren, Natasha (Austin) Lowe of Hurricane; Wesley (Harlie) Miller of Cowen; Dr. Dustin Miller of Huntington; Bradin Miller of Cowen; Chance Miller of Cowen and Jillian (Jason) Yeager of Beckley. Great Grandchildren; Trevor Lowe; Derek Lowe of Hurricane; Winry Miller of Cowen; Felicity Miller of Cowen and Easton Yeager of Beckley.

Services will be held Thursday 9/14/2023 with visitation 1 to 3pm and services to follow at Morris Funeral Home, Cowen. Burial will follow at the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Cowen.
