A memorial Service to celebrate his life will be held at the Upper Glade Presbyterian Church at 12:00 Thursday, August 16, 2018, with the Rev Bob Bondurant officiating. A reception will follow at John Leslies gym. Gary Warren “Hatch” Williams, 64, passed away August 11,2018 at Hubbard Hospice House, Charleston,WV after a short illness. Gary was born in Richwood on April 20, 1954 to Mr. and Mrs. Harry (Madge) Williams.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife Leslie, sisters Nancy (Jake) Bragg and Susan (Dwight) Given and brother Dave (Linda) Williams. Many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly and a multitude of friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents and first wife Vickie.

Gary grew up in Webster County and loved his home state of West Virginia. He enjoyed playing sports in high school and later learned to golf from his father in law Les Bowman. He also enjoyed fishing and loved to fish in bass tournaments. He was a huge Dale Earnhardt #3 fan. In his early years, he played music in the bands “Street Legal” and “Boogie Review”, telling stories of those years with a twinkle in his eyes. Gary was a homebody and loved being home with his wife and beloved pets. Gary worked at Leslie Equipment Company for 38 years. Many of his coworkers and their children were like another family to him.
