A gathering of family and friends will be held from 2:00 to 3:00PM Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Morris Funeral Home, Cowen. A Masonic Graveside Service will follow at Hanschumacher Cemetery, Upper Glade, WV. In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to West Virginia Hospice, 8 Hartman Place, Buckhannon, WV, 26201 or Burlington United Methodist Family Service, 539 New Creek Highway, Keyser, WV 26726. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.morrisfuneralhomecowenwv.com.
Services are entrusted to the care of Morris Funeral Home, Cowen, WV.

Aunt Ethel, Rose and Shalimar, Doy, So sorry for our loss. I wanted to get to see him last week. hope you are all Doing OK. I know it is difficult for you. I always enjoyed visiting with Darrell. Never visited often enough. God Bless you ALL.

He was a family friend most of our lives. He spent many hours at our family home. He was always friendly and an all around nice person. He will be missed.

My thoughts are heavy as I write this... Darryl and I spent lots of time together when we we're younger. I would love to see a reminder to all of us too take time out of our busy lives to stay connected. I have found myself deeply sorrowful because I found no time to say goodbye to a very loved and cherished friend... Rest in Peace my old buddy Darryl... May God's return hopefully give me the blessing of you once again.
