Service will be 11:00am. Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Morris Funeral Home, Cowen with Pastor Craig Williams and Rev. Keith Williams officiating. Burial will follow in West Virginia Memorial Gardens, Calvin. Friends make call from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Wednesday Evening at the funeral home.

Bobby G Cogar, 76, of Cowen passed away Saturday, February 4, 2017 at his residence with his loving family by his side.
He was born January 12, 1941 in Braxton County a son of George Carl and Edna Anna Dean Cogar
Bobby was a retired U.M.W.A from Lacky Smokeless, he also drove truck in a rock quarry. Bobby enjoyed hunting, fishing, digging ramps and camping with his grandchildren. He was a Methodist by Faith.
He is survived by his loving wife of 55 years Ellen Carelene Carpenter Cogar, daughter, Ellen Denise (Denver A.) Dolly of Camden on Gauley, brother, Woodrow (Pearl) Jordan of Ireland, sister, Leveron Payne of Cowen, grandchildren, Ellen Savannah (Donald) Weaver of Cowen, Bobby Alren and fiancé Zantana Walkup and son Will of Camden on Gauley, great-grandchildren, Tyler Dewayne Weaver, Lane Howard Weaver, Eric Allen Weaver and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents brother, Harley Groff and sister, Donna Lomelino preceded him in death.
