Mavadelle Deel, 95, of Cowen, WV passed away peacefully at home on December 11, 2023. She was born on September 2, 1928 in Arcola to the late Robert Tyler and Sarah (Keller) Tyler.

Mavadelle was a homemaker. She enjoyed quilting, cooking, canning, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memories is son, Gary (Judy) Deel; daughter in law, Thelma Deel; grandchildren, Gregory (Chastity) Deel, Pam (Charles) Smith, Dwayne (Jackelyn) Deel, Kim (Teddy) Weese, Scott Deel; great grandchildren, Natasha Richardson, Chad Deel, Cody Deel, Cole Deel, Miranda Payne, Austin Weese, Destiny Haze, Samatha Deel, Asley Casteel, Timmy Smith and fifteen great-great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband Arley Deel; son, Robert Deel; brothers, Ralph Tyler, Harley Tyler, and Gail Tyler; and sister, Arzula Beale.

Service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, December 15, 2023 at Morris Funeral Home, Cowen with Pastor Doug Martin officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 12:00pm until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Adkison Cemetery, Cowen, WV.
