William Harold “Bill” Holcomb, 75, passed away peacefully Monday, October 12, 2020 at his residence, with his family by his side. He was born October 11, 1945 in Montgomery, a son of the late Len and Sibyl Deen Cunningham Holcomb.

Bill was a 1965 graduate of Cowen High School and was a retired maintenance for Brooks Run Mining. He was a huge fan of the WVU Mountaineers, Cincinnati Reds, Pittsburgh Steelers, La Lakers and NASCAR (Dale Earnhart Sr.). He enjoyed the outdoor activities, like hunting, fishing and camping. Had hobbies such as woodworking and carpentry, but above all, he loved spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving is his loving wife of  54  years Mary C. Tyler Holcomb, children, Rob (Brenda) Holcomb of Summersville, Laura Holcomb-Fields of  Charleston  , Kenny (Jennifer) Holcomb of Cowen   and Tim (Jennifer) Holcomb of  Mount Nebo-  siblings, Roger (Sherry) Holcomb of Arcola, Joyce (Dan) Bean of Cowen and Judy (Gary) Deel of Cowen, 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren and many other extended family and friends.

Bill’s request for cremation has been honored and a Memorial Gathering will be held from 1:00 to 3:00pm. Saturday, October 24, 2020 at the Arcola Community Church.
