Paul D. Rigsby, 64, of Camden-on-Gauley, passed away Friday, March 16, 2018 at Summersville Regional Medical Center, following a short illness. Paul was born December 23, 1953, in Camden-on-Gauley, WV, a son of Delores Luzader Rigsby and the late Warren Rigsby.

Paul was a Coal Miner with 34 years of service, before a work injury forced his retirement. He was a Christian by faith and a member of First Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, digging ramps and cutting wood. He loved watching Jimmy Swaggart and recorded episodes so he could watch them over and over. He also loved being with his grandchildren.

The family would like to the thank those at Webster Nursing and Rehabilitation Center who helped care for Paul.

Paul is survived by his loving wife Louise Grounds Rigsby, his mother, Delores Rigsby, son Paul David (Marcia) Rigsby, and daughter Mary (Myrven) Young. Grandchildren, Brent Young, Shaylynn Rigsby, Bethany Dutton, and Kayle Young. Sisters, Alice (Dwight) Williams, Roselee (Scott) Reeves, Melinda (Marvin) Shatley and Mark Rigsby, and special friend Daniel Lafferty.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by brother David Rigsby.

Services will be held Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at 1:00 pm at First Missionary Baptist Church, Camden-on-Gauley, WV, with Pastors Tom Kessler and Kenny Kidd officiating. Cremation will follow the services. Friends may call on Monday, March 19, 2018 from 6:00-8:00pm at First Missionary Baptist Church.
