Oliver N. Rose II, 72, of Erbacon, WV passed away at his residence on Thursday, August 9, 2018. He was born September 7, 1945 in Bays, WV, a son of the late Ordie Newton and Francis Jenkins Rose.
Oliver was a coal miner for 14 years and enjoyed fishing, camping, farming and taking care of his animals. He loved to buy, sell and trade. He was a Baptist by faith.
He is survived by his loving wife, Kathy; children: Oliver Newton Rose III (Melissa) of Braxton Co., Daniel Troy Rose of Elkins, WV, Brandon Lee Rose of Sand Fork, WV, Dustin Hezekiah Rose (Amanda) of Glenville, WV, Stacy Nicole Jodon (Ryan) of Point Pleasant, WV, Greg Hall of Harpers Ferry, WV, Eric Hall of Harpers Ferry, WV. Step-children: Renae Wolverton (Amos) of Erbacon, WV and Amos Perrine of Erbacon, WV. Siblings: Kyle Rose of Erbacon, WV, Kathy Dennison of Little Birch, WV, Annie Fisher of Mill Creek, WV and Angela Hickman of Bays, WV and 16 grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother, Bob Rose and sister, Naomi Rose.
