Denzil Lee "Bud" Stutler

Burial Date March 15, 2020
In keeping with Bud’s wishes, cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, March 15, 2020 at the New Life Southern Baptist Church, Cowen with Pastor Terry Cunningham officiating. Military Honors will be conducted by American Legion Post #62. Friends may join the family for refreshments following the service.

Mr. Stutler was my shop teacher in Jr. High School at Cowen, instilled the skills and knowledge that has served me well, but most of all he shared his love of woodworking that continues to grow in my heart. I only hope I can share that love like he did...Our prayers for you all at this time...may God Bless you with his peace and comfort!

Mrs. Stutler and Family: Please accept my sincere condolences. Mr. Stutler had a big impact on shaping me for 2-3 years when I was 15-17 years old as a coach and a friend. He often went hunting and fishing with my dad and me and spent a lot of time at our house. We also worked together during the summer and he even drove our family to Florida one summer on vacation. I have fond memories of those times before we moved away from Cowen in 1963.. I will soon be 74 years old, but still think of him every time I go trout fishing or hunting. Rest in peace Mr. Stutler.
