Dear Estell, Steve, Shellie, Brian & Family, Just a note to express my shock & sadness upon reading of Bonnis' death. Steve had told me she was not doing well and I sent my best wishes. I have so many great memories of Bonnis while I was principal of WCHS. She cared so much for the kids doing a lot of extra things to make sure those in need got fed at school & on weekends. I had to quit eating hot lunch as I gained a quick 10 pounds. She would still send me over something special she had made. However, I couldn't turn down those peanut butter and molasses sandwiches. They were the best! I always entered the building through the kitchen each morning and Bonnis was always there with a smile and greeting. She was a "rock" on our staff. I'm so sad. sincere condolences to all. Jim Marsh

For my sweet friend, Bonnis...May you rest in wonderful peace. You were one of my very best friends growing up in high school and I loved you. You were so honest and had no problem speaking your mind. You were loyal and you were so thoughtful and kind, even though you teased me mercilessly! I haven't seen you or talked with you in several years but I've thought about you often and I'll never forget our senior trip to Washington DC when I shared a room with you and Jeannie Williams, and the other girls we were with. We had such a good time and we made so many great memories. Frosty Williams was there and his Dad, Harry was one of our chaperones. It goes without saying that Jack Stewart was there and that I hope he remembers it! I'll also never forget your wedding, sweet girl, which I attended with another of our mutual friends, Ann Wayne. Jeannie and Ann have both gone ahead and you've probably already run into them. After all Bonnis, you knew everyone and everyone knew you and I don't think that'll change just because you had a change of address. When you see them, please tell them Hi for me and don't you girls walk too fast because I want to be able to catch up with you eventually. Meanwhile, I want to send my heartfelt prayers and condolences to your family that they will be comforted because I know that your absence will leave a huge empty space in their lives. You will truly be missed by so many. Love to you, my friend...
