Lillie Elizabeth Cochran, 86, of Webster Springs, passed away Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown after an extended illness. She was born December 16, 1936 in Bergoo, a daughter of the late Murray and Maude Phillips Hamrick.

Lillie was a 1955 graduate of Webster Springs High School. She was a bookkeeper for Dr. Hunter and Leslie’s Equipment Company. She was employed by Manpower of West Virginia for 11 years. Lillie was a Baptist by Faith and loved leading people to the Lord. She was a former member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, cooking, canning. Lillie loved her dog Benji, Lillie spent many years singing gospel songs in church and revivals and spending time with family and friends. Lillie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to all and will be missed dearly.

Surviving is her loving husband of 67 years Cofer “Bud” Cochran, sons, Randy (Teresa) Cochran of Webster Springs, Scott (Shara) Cochran of Cowen, sister, Lucille Rodgers of Parkersburg, grandchildren, Kandi Cochran (Buck Clutter), Keri McFoy, Kaylyn (Kenny) Hall, Raegan (Jacob) Cogar, Noah Cochran, Johna Watson, Steve Clevenger, great-grandchildren, Kenley McFoy, Baylee Hall, Calihan Hall, Sawyer Hall, Landen Watson, Lydia Clevenger and many other nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to her parents, brothers, Jennings Hamrick, Gerald Hamrick, Leon Hamrick, sisters, Geneva Hamrick and Jeanette Leonard preceded her in death.
