Jonathon E. White, 48, of Cowen, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, June 1, 2023 at Webster County Memorial Hospital. He was born March 14, 1975 in Webster Springs, a son of Barbara Roberts White and the late Delbert H. White.

Jonathon was a heavy equipment diesel mechanic for Allegheny Wood Products. He enjoyed camping, hunting, fishing, family cookouts, 4-wheeling, and tinkering on things. He loved playing Fortnight and at one point had the best sniper score. Jonathon enjoyed family time and he was the” Best Dad” and will be missed by all who knew him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Dawn White, children, Autumn White, Landen White, Cassie White, step-children, Mary McCartney, Micheal McCartney, sister, Annette White and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

In addition to his father, brothers, Jacob White and Delbert White preceded him in death.

Jonathon’s wishes for cremation have been honored and a memorial service will be held at 7:00pm Saturday, June 10, 2023 at Morris Funeral Home, Cowen with Sister, Donna Carrol officiating. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 5:00pm until the time of service Saturday at the funeral home.
