James Michael Bond went to his Heavenly home on May 14, 2023.  Left to cherish his memories are his wife Patricia Bond; daughters Alicia (Matt) Dorsey, of Craigsville, and Michelle (Ryan) Hacker, of Upper Glade, WV; and grandchildren Kamryn and Preston Dorsey, Easton, Pailyn and Kaison Hacker.

Surviving brother and sisters:  LeVern (Bennie) Shifflett of Walkersville, WV; Betty (Bill) Elmer of Rock Cave, WV; (Leah) Lorraine (David) Lowery of Portland, TN; Charlotte Kaye (Ronnie) McIe of Lodi, OH, Linda Sue (Basil) Chidester of Rock Cave, WV; Thomas Bond of Buckhannon; Bonnie (Pastor Rick) Cutright of Rock Cave ,WV; and Dave (Kathy) Bond of Rock Cave, WV.

Mike loved to hunt, fish and ride his Harley.  He enjoyed spending time with his family and doing leather work, of which he took great pride.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents Delbert and Ernestine (Smith) Bond; brother, Burl Junior Bond; and sisters Joann Bond and Helen Bailey.

Services will be held at 12:00pm Saturday, May 20, 2023, at Morris Funeral Home, Cowen, with Pastor Rick Cutright officiating.  Burial will follow at the Handschumacher Cemetery, in Upper Glade, WV. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, May 19, 2023 at Morris Funeral Home in Cowen from 5:00 pm to 8:00
