Burial Date July 15, 2023

Services will be held at 1:00pm Saturday, July 15, 2023 at the Jumbo Community Church, Jumbo with Pastors Butch Rose and David Chapman officiating. Burial with full Military Honors conducted by American Legion Post #62 will follow at the Cool Springs Cemetery. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 11:00am until the time of service Saturday at the church.

Harold Quentin Schrader, 92, of Diana, passed away peacefully Monday, July 10, 2023 at his residence after an extended illness. He was born May 12, 1931 in Jumbo, WV a son of the late John P. and Mamie Cogar Schrader.

Harold was a former welder and employed through the Boilermaker’s Tampa Local 433 for over 30 years and upon moving back to West Virginia he was a welder for Tom and Eugene Cogar Logging. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, having served on the U.S.S. Jarvis. Harold was a hard worker and provider for his family. He attended and was the Assistant Pastor at the Jumbo Community Church.

Surviving is his loving wife of 54 years, Anna Hines Schrader, sons, Kevin (Kayla) Schrader, Stephen (Tena) Schrader, daughter, Kristina (Ellis) Frame, sister, Macel Eschenbach, grandchildren, McKenzie Dotson, Cate Frame, Reagan Schrader and many other extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, brothers, Kermit Schrader, John Schrader, Garry Schrader, Larry Schrader, sisters, Madeline Clevenger, Ruth Cummings and Lela Aegan preceded him in death.
