Alma Loraine Hawkins, 97, of Boggs, passed away Friday, September 16, 2022 at the Hidden Valley Center, Oak Hill after an extended illness. She was born October 1, 1924 in Skyles, West Virginia, a daughter of the late Charles and Ella Roberts Hollandsworth.

Loraine was a former homemaker and Postmaster at the Boggs Post Office from 1973 until her retirement in 1990. She was a former member of the Rebekah Lodge and enjoyed shopping, traveling and sewing. Later in her life she became a homebody who loved visits from her family and many friends. She was a Christian by Faith.

Surviving are her children, George A. (Joan) Hawkins of Glen Daniels, West Virginia and Cheryl (Randall) Rodebaugh of Boggs, West Virginia, grandchildren Brandon Rodebaugh of Boggs, Karen (Jeff) Herb of Georgia, Jennifer (Brian) Lewis of South Carolina, Justin (Holley) Hawkins of Glen Daniels, Chris Simms of Glen Daniels, Eddie Sims of Glen Daniels, Kellie Westfall of North Carolina and 12 great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews who will miss her dearly.

In addition to her parents her loving husband, George Hawkins, brothers, Austin Hollandsworth, Rexal Hollandsworth, Gerald Hollandsworth, sisters, Helen Sanson, Verta Frazer, Myrtle Rose and Mazie Sizemore preceded her in death.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00am Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at the Alex Williams Cemetery, Cranberry Ridge with Rev. Keith Williams officiating.
