David Jack Keffer

David Jack Keffer, 72, passed peacefully at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV on March 16, 2025. He was born on February 24, 1953, the son of the late Agnes and Clyde Keffer. Jack grew up on Cranberry Ridge, in Camden on Gauley, WV.

Jack had a good sense of humor. He always loved to joke and play pranks. He loved watching westerns, Hee Haw, comedy, and Looney Tunes. Jack always enjoyed company visiting. He will be dearly missed by his siblings, nieces, and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Agnes “Birdie” Keffer and Clyde Edward Keffer, he was preceded in death by one sister, Naomia Keffer.

Surviving is his brother, Gary Keffer, Sr. of Craigsville, sisters, Norma Hinkle of Summersville and Patricia Fletcher of Ohio, and many nieces and nephews.

Service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, March 23, 2025 at Morris Funeral Home in Cowen with Pastor Jim Varney officiating. Burial will follow at Russell Cemetery on Cranberry Ridge. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 12:30 pm until the time of the service on March 23, 2025 at the funeral home.
