Aniello Guiseppa Romano Jr., 84 of Cowen, WV, passed away unexpectedly Thursday, April 25, 2019 at his residence. He was born October 29, 1934 in Camden on Gauley, a son of the late Aniello “Neal” and Angelina Feola Romano. Jr. was a 1952 graduate of Cowen High School and attended Glenville State College. He was an US Army Veteran of the Third Infantry Regiment, and a member of the Old Guard as Clerk of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. Jr retired as a vocational instructor from the Webster County Board of Education and owned Cowen T.V. and Appliance store for many years. He enjoyed working with his excavator and dozer and watching his grandsons play ball and run track. Jr. is survived by his son, Mark and Robin Romano of Cowen, Brother John Romano of Tioga, WV, Sisters, Mary Miller, Teresa Schiable, and Edith Romano of Westminister, MD and Dora Dixon and Judy Romano of Manchester, MD. Grandsons, Adam Romano and Jared Romano of Cowen, WV. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Kenney Romano.
