Whitney Nichelle Hoover

Whitney Nichelle Hoover, 27, of Camden on Gauley, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, May 14, 2022. She was born August 16, 1994 in Beckley, West Virginia, a daughter of Larry and Angie Metz Hoover.

Whitney was a 2012 graduate of Webster County High School, after graduation she attended West Virginia University. She was currently working in the Loan and Mortgage department of MVB Bank. She enjoyed playing with her sons, jumping on the trampoline with them, painting, crafts, and spending time with her nieces and nephews.

Whitney was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and aunt, survived by her son, Denver Ehabe, parents, Larry and Angie Hoover, of Camden on Gauley, brother, Kody (Johnna) Short, of Fairmont, and nieces, Peyton, and Sophie, and unborn nephew, and sister, Sheri Marie Young and her children, Anthony, Rosalie, Chanel, Josiah, and Joshua, of Maryland, grandmother, Nacy Metz, uncle, Randy (Linda) Metz, aunts, Karen Jamison, Kathy (Glenn) Hodges, Kelly Hoover, and Kimberly Hoover (Eddie Gibson), and numerous cousins.

She is proceeded in death by her son, Everett Ehabe, grandfather, Jerry Metz, grandmother, Velma Hoover, and Uncle Lon Hoover.

Services will be held Friday, May 20, 2022 at 1PM at Morris Funeral Home, Cowen, with Reverend Keith Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Alex Williams Cemetery, Cranberry Ridge. Friends may call on Thursday May 19, 2022, from 6PM-8PM at the Funeral Home.
