Virginia Mae Heck

Virginia Mae Heck, 81, formally of Cowen, WV and more recently of Hambleton, WV where she resided with her son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Stephanie Taylor passed away January 9, 2018. She was born February 7, 1936 in Webster County, the daughter of the late Earl Sill of Cowen and Leona Sill Smally of Webster Springs, WV. On June 28, 1975 she was married to Densil Heck who resides in Thomas, WV.

Left to cherish her memory, in addition to her husband, is son Charles (Stephanie) Taylor, and daughters, Phyllis (Adam) Kus and Anna Heck. Sisters, Goldie Wine of Webster Springs, Patricia (Romie) Payne of Grassy Creek and Jean (Junior) Young of Virginia. Grandchildren: Paul Heck Jr., Jonathan Heck, Jeremy Taylor, Brittany Taylor and Becca, Brooke Sharp and Justin, Skyla Taylor, Avery Taylor, Wesley Taylor, Trevor Taylor, Jackie Custer, Ronald Custer, Angela Sailsgiver and Chris, and Christoper N.; 16 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sister Juanita Cogar, brother Wilber Sill and son-in-law Paul Heck, Sr.

Services will be held Thursday, January 11, 2017 at 1:00pm at Morris Funeral Home, Cowen with Pastor Pat Greene officiating. Burial will follow at Givens Cemetery, Upper Glade.
