Virginia Marie Russell Dorsey

Virginia Marie Russell Dorsey, 63, of Craigsville passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 2, 1953 in Richwood, a daughter of the late Holbert and Maxine Case Russell.

Marie was a homemaker and a graduate of Cowen High School, class of 1971. She loved flowers, painting, crafts, fishing, 4-wheeling and spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving is her husband, Gary Dorsey, children: James A. Ramsey and companion Erika of Morgantown, Heather (Junior) Broyles of Nettie, Crystal (Andy) Sentz of Summersville, Amanda Ramsey and companion Randy of Craigsville, Matt (Alicia) Dorsey of Nettie. Brothers: Charles Beckett of Camden on Gauley, David Beckett of Baltimore, Maryland. Grandchildren: Alicia, Dalton, Kristen, Justin, Thomas, Rylee, Kamryn and Preston, great-grandchildren, Bella, Astin and Danica.

Service will be 2:00pm Sunday, July 30, 2017 at Morris Funeral Home, Cowen with Rev. Keith Williams officiating. Burial will follow at the Fairview Cemetery, Nettie. Friends may call from 12:00pm until time of service Sunday at the funeral home.
