Virgil William “Bill” Radcliff, 79, of Erbacon, passed away Friday, September 12, 2025, at Webster County Memorial Hospital, Webster Springs, after a sudden illness. He was born on September 21, 1945, in Braxton County, a son of the late Virgil and Myrtle Myers Radcliff.
Bill was a truck driver for over 30 years, mostly in the logging business. He was extremely active in his community and church. He was always working hard around his home, gardening, cutting wood, working on vehicles for himself and others. Bill was a Christian by faith, and a member of Arcola Community Fellowship in Arcola. He enjoyed going to church, revivals, musical instruments and singing along with friends. .Spending time with his family, especially his son, Daniel, meant the most to him.
Surviving is his son Daniel Radcliff of Erbacon, brother, Lawrence Radcliff and sister in law, Freda Radcliff of Erbacon, several nieces, nephews, and friends are saddened by his sudden passing.
In addition to his parents, Wilda the love of his life and son, David Radcliff, brother, Freddie Radcliff and sisters, Bonnie Salisbury and Dorothy Wolverton also preceded his death.
Graveside Service will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday, September 16, 2025, will be held at the Hickory Flats Cemetery, Erbacon with Rev. Sherry Holcomb officiating.
