Virgie Elizabeth Chapman

Virgie Elizabeth Chapman, 48, of Birch River, passed away, Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at JW Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown, after a short illness. She was born January 12, 1972 in Webster Springs, a daughter of Paul Chapman and the late Ella Harless Chapman.

Virgie was a homemaker who enjoyed working at the Sheltered Workshop. She time working on plastic canvases and riding her 3-wheeled bicycle. Virgie would tell you that one of the highlights of her life was going white water rafting. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

Surviving are her siblings, Betty (Steve) Selman of Birch River, Gerald Chapman of Charleston, Warren Chapman of Lewisburg, Carl Chapman of Huntington, Carlene (Ronnie) House of Webster Springs and Gladys (Buck) Ellison of Webster Springs and many nieces, nephews and friends.

Virgie’s wishes for cremation have been honored, with no services at this time.
