Sue Jarvis

Sue Jarvis, 57, of Cowen, passed away unexpectedly, Friday, March 4, 2022 at Webster County Memorial Hospital after a sudden illness. She was born November 19, 1964 in Summersville, a daughter of the late Burnell Jarvis and Maxine Fulkner, a brother, Don Hall also preceded her in death.

Sue worked for over 25 years as an Associate at Walmart, first in Midlothian, Virginia and then in Summersville, West Virginia. Sue enjoyed reading, shopping and crocheting blankets for all the new babies. Sue’s life was about her children, following them through all there school activities and sporting events. She was a Christian by Faith and will be sadly missed as the Matriarch of her family.

Surviving are her children, Danielle Janae Williams of Cowen and Shalee Maxann Williams of Cowen, Serenity Sue, Chance Daniel and her puppy Tiny Girl, sister, Lora (Virgil) Hamrick of Powhatan, Virginia, brother, Larry Jarvis and numerous nieces, nephews and ‘adopted children” whom she loved and treated as her own.

Service will be held at 1:00pm. Wednesday, March 9, 2022 at Morris Funeral Home, Cowen with Pastor Doug Martin officiating. Burial will follow at the Alex Williams Cemetery, Cranberry Ridge, West Virginia. Friends may call from 11:00am until the time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
