Roy Curtis Woods

Roy Curtis Woods, 55, passed away Thursday, August 18, 2016, at Charleston Area Medical Center, due to complications from a fall. He was born April 13, 1961 in Webster Springs, the son of the late Roy Jr and Louise Tracy Woods.

Curtis was a former equipment operator for Leslie’s Lumber Company. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends.

He is survived by daughters, Stephanie Richardson of Richwood and Stacy Lane of Richwood; sister Tina Phares of Cowen; grandchildren, Airyohnna Richardson, Jeffrey Richardson, Draken Richardson, Kenley Lane, and Caylee Lane. Two more grandchildren are arriving soon. Niece, Brittaney Lewis; nephew Jason Lewis, great-nephew Zander Lewis.

Curt chose to be cremated with a memorial service to be held at a later date.

Arrangements were trusted to the care of Morris Funeral Home, Cowen, WV.
