Ronald James Ward

Ronald James Ward, 49, of Craigsville, passed away Monday, July 16, 2018 from injuries received in a logging accident. He was born June 15, 1969 in Akron, Ohio, a son of Ronald Lee and Nancy Webb Ward.

He was a timber cutter with 20 years of experience. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, ginsenging and being in the outdoors.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by step-children, Angela Dempsey, Frannie Rhodes, and Adam Dempsey, sister, Laurie Ward, and special niece Jaylee, 10 step-grandchildren and many aunts, uncles, family and friends.

He was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Junior Ward and Patricia Kingsley and maternal grandparents, Arnold and Annabell Webb.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, July 22, 2018 at Mountain Trail Cemetery, Craigsville. A eulogy will be presented by his father, Ronald Ward. Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.morrisfuneralhomecowenwv.com.
