Robert Maynard

Robert Maynard, 80, of Cowen passed away suddenly, on Monday, May 14, 2017 at Webster County Memorial Hospital, Webster Springs. He was born March 1, 1938 in Wayne County, West Virginia a son of the late Clyde and Irene Robinson Maynard. He was a logger by trade, mostly a log scaler, with over 40 years of service. Raymond enjoyed hunting, traveling, farming and tending to his animals. He was a Baptist by faith.

Surviving is his loving wife of over 26 years, Ann Wayne Maynard, children, Jeff Maynard, Keith Maynard and Cheryl Maynard, siblings, Ronnie Maynard, Mary Sue Wallace, Bonnie Cramer, Myrtle Maynard and Phyllis. Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, siblings, Clyde, Otis, Audie and Jude preceded him in death.

Services will be held at 2:00pm Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Morris Funeral Home, Cowen with Pastor Larry Lovely officiating. Burial will be in the Robinson Cemetery, Wayne County, West Virginia on Monday, May 21, 2018. Friends may call from 1:00pm until time of service Sunday at the funeral home.
