Randy Wilson Sr.

On April 9, 2025, Randy Wilson Sr. arrived at the Pearly Gates of Heaven and requested immediate entrance. Preceded by his father, Pat Wilson; mother, Violet Wilson Mellott; two brothers, Pat Edward and Foster Ford; and two sisters, Aretta and Laura. Also preceding him in death were maternal grandparents Joe and Ella Suttle and paternal grandparents Joe and Laura Dickey Wilson, along with several nieces and nephews. He surely was anxious to meet with them all again. Randy is survived by sons, Randy Wilson Jr and Carlton Wilson; sisters, Wanda Carpenter, Loretta Moore, and Linda Wilson; brother, Gary Wilson; former partners, Ruth Morris and Karen Sue Carter; and multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In this life, Randy was a Certified Master mechanic, a fair banjo picker, a preacher, a motorcycle enthusiast, an excellent source of life advice, and sometimes a rascal, among other things. Randy was passionate about old vehicles, his faith, and most of all his family. Upon his passing, he had two requests from his friends and family. The first is that a celebration of life will take place at a later date this summer when the weather is good and all can enjoy it. The second was that we all try to be a little kinder to one another. He is loved and will be very missed.
