Pauline Miller

Pauline Miller, 77, of Cowen passed away Thursday, June 14, 2018 at Charleston Area Medical Center, with her family by her side.

She was born July 15, 1940 in Boggs, WV, a daughter of the late Estel D. and Margaret Blankenship Boggs. Pauline was a graduate of Cowen High School and worked for over 45 years as a payroll and accounts payable clerk for both Webster County Memorial Hospital and Summersville Regional Medical Center. She was a member of the Cowen Water Board and the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed reading, crocheting, playing the piano, working and taking care of her grandchildren. Pauline was a Baptist by Faith.

Surviving is her husband, Jack Miller, children, Marsha (Kenny) Sutton of Scott Depot and Wes (Angie) Miller of Cowen. Sister, Mary (Sam) Baughman of Summersville, grandchildren: Natasha (Austin) Lowe, Wesley (Harlie) Miller, Dustin Miller, Bradin Miller and Chance Miller, great-grandchildren, Trevor Lowe, Derek Lowe and Winry Miller.

In addition to her parents, brothers, Burnell Boggs, Estel Boggs Jr, Annis Boggs, sisters, Gladys Fowler, Betty Fowler, Cynthia Rhodes and Joann Stallard preceded her in death.

Services will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, July 17, 2018 at Morris Funeral Home, Cowen with Pastor Craig Williams and Pastor Doug Martin officiating. Burial will follow at the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Cowen. Friends may call from 12:00 until time of service, Sunday at the funeral home.
