Paul Delmas Mckenzie

Paul Delmas McKenzie, 79, of Upper Glade passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 at WVU St. Joseph’s Hospital, Buckhannon. He was born March 22, 1943 in Upper Glade a son of the late Dan and Arlene McAvoy McKenzie.

Paul was a retired Island Creek Coal Miner, having worked 25 plus years in the mines. Paul was an outdoorsman, he loved, Turkey Hunting, fishing, snow-shoe rabbit hunting, coon hunting, gardening, traveling and socializing with friends.

Surviving is his wife, Linda McKenzie, sisters, Beatrice Bratton of Upper Glade, Colleen Maul of Virginia, Warren (Betty) McKenzie of Virginia, grandchildren, Gavin McKenzie of Upperglade.

Along with his parents Paul is preceded in death by his son Justin McKenzie, and Sister Bernice Ligenfelter.

A graveside service was held Friday July 8, 2022 at 11am at McKenize Family Cemetery, Upperglade, with Pastor Doug Martin officiating.
