Patricia Jean “Pat” Gregory

Patricia Jean “Pat” Gregory, 69, of Craigsville passed away unexpectedly Friday, November 27, 2020 at WVU Ruby Memorial Hospital, Morgantown. She was born June 28, 1951, in Richwood, a daughter of the late Kennie E. and Pauline “Polly” Donaldson Stanley.

Pat was a 1968 graduate of Richwood High School and was employed as a clerk at Dollar General, Craigsville for many years. She enjoyed working, sewing, tracing her family tree, keeping her grass mowed and just being in the outdoors. Pat also enjoyed sitting on her porch watching the traffic go by and talking with family and friends.

Surviving is her son, John Michael (Fronda) Gregory of Craigsville, sister, Shirley Wood of Craigsville, grandchildren, Josh Wright of Beckley, Bridget (Travis) Lawson of Summersville and Tyrrant (Ashley) Gregory of Summersville, aunt, Alice Mullens of Williams River, special nephew, Charlie Wood of Virginia, nephews, Randall Wood, James Wood, Gary Stanley and niece, Missy Keaton and special friend and neighbor, Jimmy Lawson.

In addition to her parents, husband, Johnny Gregory, son, Kenny Wright, brother, Kenneth Stanley aunts, Barbara Keen, Millie Dyer and uncle, Ray Donaldson preceded her in death.

Services will be held at 12:00 Monday, November 30, 2020 at Morris Funeral Home, Cowen with Rev. Keith Williams officiating. Burial will follow at the Craigsville Cemetery. Friends may call from 11:00am until the time of service Monday at the funeral home.
