Norma Jean Hinkle, 79, of Craigsville passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, surrounded by her family.

She was born December 06, 1945, in Richwood WV a daughter to the late Clyde Edward (Eddie) and Agnes Davis Keffer.

Norma was a former employee of Kirkwood Winery, Summersville for 17 years. She enjoyed reading, crafts, playing bingo, cookouts, yard sales and drinking her coffee. Family gatherings and spending time with her grandchildren were her favorite. Most of all, she was a grannie to all that knew her.

Surviving are her daughters, Angela Wilt (companion Terry Lowther) of Summersville, Cindy (Chuck) Stuart of Craigsville sister, Patricia Fletcher of Ohio, and brother, Gary Keffer of Craigsville, grandchildren, Amber, Brittany (Allen) Cogar, CJ (Kristen) Stuart, Conner (Amanda) Stuart and Caden, great-grandchildren, Kendra, Brantley, Brinley, Colt, Hunter, Adde and Jeff Wilt who was like a son to her. In addition to her grandkids, she had Shay, Chelsea, Bentley, Greyson, Kinsley, Jameson, Jayda, Harper, Asher and Cohen and many others who loved and called her granny and her beloved dog, Jax.

In addition to her parents, husband Frederick Hinkle; siblings, David (Jack) Keffer and sister Naomi Keffer preceded her in death.

Service will be held a 1:00pm. Monday, September 8, 2025, at Morris Funeral Home, Cowen with Pastor Shawn Bragg officiating.

Burial will follow at West Virginia Memorial Gardens, Calvin.

A gathering of family and friends will be held from 12:00pm until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
