Myrtle Mae Roberts Riddle

Myrtle Mae Roberts Riddle, 97, of Boggs died on November 18, 2024. She was born on January 13, 1927, to Albert and Lula Bragg Roberts.

We bid farewell to this amazing individual who embodied the spirit of Rosie the Riveter during the wars last two years. Her life was a tapestry of courage, love and strength. She is now reunited with family who have passed on before her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Elburn Riddle, son Rodney Riddle, grandson Charlie Riddle and great grandchildren Madilyn Charli and Jaxon William Hughes, sister Beaulah Glover, and brothers Ellis Roberts, Charles Roberts, and Herbert Roberts.

Myrtle is survived by son Bill Riddle (Sharron) and daughter Julia (Estil) Hughes, grandson Jason Hughes, great grandsons Dustin (Vanessa) Hughes and Dalen Hunt, and great-great grandchildren Theo, Hailey and Gracie Hughes.

Myrtle was a Christian by faith, and she loved people. She worked at Bright of America, Rubber Crafters, and retired from the Weston State Hospital. Her wishes to be cremated were followed.

There will be a memorial gathering to celebrate the life of Myrtle on Saturday, May 17, 2025, from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm at the Riddles Farm, Boggs, WV.
