Mitchel Glenn Bender

Mitchel Glenn Bender, 64 of Williams River Rd. passed away Monday, February 6, 2017 at WVU Ruby
Memorial Hospital, Morgantown.

He was born July 12, 1952 in Buckhannon a son of Teresa Grounds Bender and the late Theodore T.O.
Bender.

Mitchel was a logger all his life, he was a 1970 graduate of Webster Springs High School a former Boy
Scout and a Christian by Faith. He enjoyed farming, hunting, collecting arrowheads and rattlesnake
buttons.

He is survived by his wife Pamela Bender, children, Vera Bender of Cross Lanes, Christine Bender of
Buckhannon, Melissa Carpenter of Birch River, Roger Bender of Bolair, brothers, Gary Bender of Upper
Glade, Randy Tennell of Clarksburg, sisters, Rhoda Short of Cowen, Terry Casteel of Cowen,
grandchildren, Christopher Bender, Gage Bender, Zachary Carpenter, Dakota Carpenter, Alden Bender,
Gavin Bender, Riley Bender, Riley Petersen, Bailey Payne and Korbin Petersen.

Service will be 8:00pm. Friday, February 10, 2017 at Morris Funeral Home, Cowen with Pastor Roger
Dunlap officiating.

Friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Friday Evening at the funeral home.

In keeping with Mitchels wishes he chose to be cremated. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to assist the
family with expenses.
