Services will be held at 12:00pm on Friday, July 12, 2024, at Morris Funeral Home in Cowen with Pastor Lynn Schieffer officiating. Burial will follow at the family cemetery in Boggs. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 10:00 am until the time of service on Friday at the funeral home.

Millard Delind “Dee” Kinslow, 77 of Boggs, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 7, 2024, at his home with his loving family by his side. Dee was born April 30, 1947, in Upper Glade, the son of Sam Ed Kinslow and Myrtle Ora Worley Kinslow.

Dee was a United States Army Veteran having served in the Vietnam War. He was proud to be in Company A First Battalion 7th Calvary. He was a member of the Honor Guard. Dee worked for Island Creek Coal Company for twenty years.

He was an avid hunter, fisher, and loved hunting ginseng. Dee enjoyed working with wood and leather, watching sports, and playing his guitar. He attended Powells Mountain Church for many years.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Vaden Kinslow and sister Faye Sanders.

Surviving is his loving wife Lynn Ayers Kinslow; two sons, Keith (Kim) Kinslow and Tom (Jody) Kinslow, both of Birch River; sister, Luene (Mike) Thomas and sister in law, Anita Kinslow both of Tennessee; grandchildren, Kalyn (Matt) Smalley, Keisha (Chad) Bennett, Abigail Kinslow, Jackson Kinslow and Harlie (Wes) Miller; and great grandchildren, Maverick, Kade, Zuri, Winry and Felicity.
