Mary Ann Woods

Mary Ann Woods, 65, of Summersville, passed away Monday, November 11, 2019 at her residence after a courageous battle with ALS. She was born August 7, 1954 in Richwood, a daughter of the late Buster and Jane Hinkle Keiffer. Mary Ann was a homemaker and a 1974 graduate of Nicholas County High School. She enjoyed gardening, picking berries, cooking, playing cards, riding motorcycles, taking care of the neighborhood children and just being in the outdoors.

Surviving is her loving husband of 45 years, Basil Woods, daughter, Violet (Ellis) Collins of Cowen, brothers, Bill Keiffer of Craigsville, James (Angie) Keiffer of Summersville, sisters, Susie (Roy) Ramsey of Craigsville, Darlene (John) Ward of Summersville, Barbie (Jimmy) Carpenter of Summersville, step brothers and sisters, Terry, Dustin, Cassie, Shane, Melody and Melissa, grandchildren, Ellis Jr., and Tiffany Collins and many other family and friends.

In addition to her parents, brothers, Ricky Keiffer, Christopher Keiffer and sister Carol Cutright preceded her in death.

Graveside Service will be held at 2:00pm Friday, November 15, 2019 at West Virginia Memorial Gardens, Calvin.
