Mary Ann Williams, 86, of Craigsville, went home to be with her loving husband of over 68 years Vasil Williams on Friday, October 9, 2020 at WVU Summersville Regional Medical Center after an extended illness. She was born December 2, 1933, in Webster County, a daughter of the late Leonard and Julia Nicholas Mullens.
Mary was a homemaker, she enjoyed baking, cooking, crocheting and quilting. She loved cooking big meals to feed her family and everyone who visited. It was said, “if you left her home hungry it was your own fault”. She loved visiting with her family, most especially, her grandchildren, friends and neighbors.
Surviving are her children, Cathy (Bobby) Evans of Craigsville, David (Kay) Williams of Beckley, Lesa (Tom) Brown of Florida and Donald Williams of Craigsville, sister, Jennie Harris of North Carolina, grandchildren, Richard, Letetia, Terran, Josh, Greg, Matthew, Tyler, Gavin, Harley, Bryce and 13 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and loving husband, son, Danny Williams, grandson, Dustin and brothers, Eugene Mullens and Alden Mullens preceded her in death.
Services will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at Morris Funeral Home, Cowen with Pastor Ercel Williams officiating. Burial will follow at the Alex Williams Cemetery, Cranberry Ridge. Friends may call from 12:00 until the time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
