Mary Jane Rose

Mary Jane Rose, 48, of Cowen, passed away unexpectedly Saturday, November 14, 2020 at CAMC Memorial Hospital. She was born November 19, 1971 at Summersville, a daughter of Evelyn Gadd Rose and the late Lanty Gale Rose.

Mary was a graduate of Webster County High School and a former cook at Logan’s Roadhouse. She was a hard worker with a big heart for helping others. Mary enjoyed visiting with family and friends, she will be missed by all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memory are her mother, sister, Chris (Jackie) Carpenter of Williamstown and Ronne Rose of Cowen, half-sister, Connie (Tim) Miller of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio,  uncles, Lloyd Gadd, Dennis Gadd and Harold Gadd all of Cowen, neice, Kasey (Zach) Cogar and her children Paityn, Zayden and neice, Jessica Carpenter and daughter Hailey and many other family and friends.

In addition to her father, son, Jonathan Rose, brother, Tim Rose, uncles, Delbert Gadd, Ralph Gadd and sister, Edith Peyatt preceded her in death.

A private family graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at the Gadd Cemetery, Cowen with Brother Larry Armentrout officiating.
