Leota I. Ritchie

Leota I. Ritchie, 77, of Cowen went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, January 28, 2018 at Webster County Memorial Hospital.

She was born February 2, 1940 at Hickory Flats, a daughter of the late Scott and Gladys Wayne Weese. Leota was a homemaker who enjoyed helping her church family and others. She enjoyed her flowers, cooking, gardening, feeding and watching her birds, and going to church.

Surviving are her children, James Edward “Junior” (Donna) Lucky of Cowen, Johnathan Allen Lucky of Cowen, Robert Eugene Ritchie of Webster Springs, sister, Violet (Dave) Johnson of Highland, Michigan, grandchildren, Amy Shane Taylor, Tiffany Pritt and 4 great-grandchildren and many extended church family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by daughter, Clara Jean Lucky, brothers, Cam Weese, Warder Weese, Max Weese, Kenneth Weese, Keith Weese, sisters, Charlotte Johns, Wilma Meadows, Genevieve Hamrick and daughter in law, Amanda Ritchie.

Graveside Service, with Chaplain Jim Dyer officiating, will be 2:00pm. Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Park, Erbacon
