Lenora M. Beckett

Lenora M. Beckett, 79, of Cowen passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at her residence. She was born September 12, 1941 in Webster County a daughter of the late William A. and Vera Ellen Bender Boggs.

Lenora was a 1959 Graduate of Cowen High School. She was a former Real Estate agent and a homemaker. Lenora enjoyed crafting and being around family and friends.

Surviving are her children, Leslie (Libby) Beckett and Rachel (Bucky) Lee both of Craigsville, brother, Conley “Ed” Boggs of New Martinsville, grandchildren, Becky Hurst, Madison Snyder, Joslyn Lee, Braydon Lee, great-grandson, Braiden Mullins and special friend who was like a daughter Angie (Dan) Westfall of Buckhannon and many other friends.

In addition to her parents Husband Orval Eugene Becket, brother, Sonny Boggs and grandsons, Allen Hurst and Kyle Lee preceded her in death.

Lenora’s wishes for cremation have been honored and a graveside memorial service at the Woods Cemetery will be held at a later date.
