Larry Ralph Hamrick, 66, of Webster Springs formerly of Springfield, Ohio passed away Sunday, July 2, 2017 at his residence.

He was born October 4, 1950 in Richwood a son of the late Olen and Lottie Tharp Hamrick.

Larry was a former coal miner in West Virginia and a factory worker in Ohio having worked around 20 years at both places. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cards, music, being in the outdoors and spending time with his grandchildren.

Surviving are his children, Ronnie (April) Hamrick of Webster Springs, Larry II (Roxanna) Hamrick of Springfield, Ohio, Rebecca Pence (Robert) of Springfield, Ohio, siblings, Elsie Hamrick of Ohio, Mary (Bill) Naylor of Ohio, Rose (John) Bean of Cowen, Arthur Hamrick of Bolair, Sue (Gary) Robinson of Bolair, Ralph (Marium) Hamrick of Ohio, Denzil (Joyce) Hamrick of Bolair, grandchildren, Zach Hamrick, Tyler Procino, Miracle Van Hamrick, Lottie Van Hamrick, Aryanna Van Hamrick, Kaitlyn Hamrick Lacy Hamrick and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, siblings, Jack Hamrick, Wanda Mollohan preceded him in death.

Service will be 1:00pm. Thursday, July 6, 2017 at Morris Funeral Home, Cowen with Pastor Joe Bragg officiating. Burial will follow at West Virginia Memorial Gardens, Calvin. Friends may call from 12:00 until time of service Thursday at the funeral home.
