Kenneth Lee Riding

Kenneth Lee Riding, 78 of Cowen, west Virginia was gently released from his earthly body and returned home to his Heavenly Father Sunday April 21, 2019. He was born the youngest of three children to William Ernest Riding and Veva (Sue) Hamblin Riding on September 4, 1940 in St. George, Utah.

He spent his youth in Mountain View, Wyoming and Clearfield, Utah. Later in life he lived in St. George, Utah and Nevada. He was an electrical Lineman, Airplane mechanic and pilot.

His parents, William and Sue Riding, preceded him in death. He leaves behind his wife Sharon Smith Riding, his brother Anthony Hamblin Riding of Idaho Falls, Idaho. His sister Margaret Ann Balfour of Baker City, Oregon and his daughter Debra (Riding) Cross of North Carolina, a grandson and great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and his special friend William Bailey, Jr.

In honoring Kenneth wishes cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held at 12:30 Sunday May 5, 2019 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter – Day Saints, Cowen.

Military Honors will be conducted by American Legion Post # 62 after the service.
